A Good Year ... So Far
It's great to be in a new year, and it's been busy already.
Tony Juste an advisor at FXstreet.com shared some interesting sentiment just a couple of hours ago. We've seen some fairly dramatic moves in the yen, especially the GBP/JPY. Tony is the most active Forex blogger I've come across, and he offers some great insight. He's got it right that those riding the coattails of easy "carry" street, such as the Japanese housewives (Forex in Japan is growing in general) to the Easy FX carry cows.
I just listened to DailyFX Forex Radio for the first time and a little underwhelmed, but I'm always open to listening to something new. I'll definitely keep an eye on it to see how it continues. For the amount of capital FXCM has it can be more focused in doing a lot of things well - instead of mediocre. It's a fast moving landscape, though, and the fact that they've reached where they have to this point means they're making some pretty good decisions.
I've received some help with the technology today from Ray, our New Media Developer and posting is made much easier because I'm now using Windows Live Writer which I have been using to post to my personal blogs, and so now I have a platform that I can use to blog to all the blogs I blog to. That must be a record for the word blog in a sentence.
As of this writing I am subscribed to 61 blogs in my RSS Reader. I'm working my way up and I figure 100, 500, and 1000 will be special milestones for me. "To Follow and To Share" is my motto for this year!
