It's been a quick Canada Day ... I can't believe it's almost over already.

Wednesday is upon us now and I just wanted to remind everyone of two key Trading Post events this week.

The first is applicable to everyone, and is our Non-Farm Payroll Data Webinar on Thursday morning at 5 a.m. PT (8 a.m. ET). You can register for this free webinar now.

The other is in preparation for a live workshop that is being taught by Pierre Charlebois in Vancouver (well it's in Burnaby which is a suburb of Vancouver). Pierre will conduct a live webinar to provide an overview of what he will be teaching in this live workshop. It will be conducted at 8 p.m. PT, and you can register for Pierre's overview session now.

To all the Canadians out there, Happy Canada Day. It's one of my favorite holidays of the year because it's a big family get together day for us.

As a reminder, the Trading Post office will not be open today, but we'll be back and available on Wednesday through the end of the week.

One thing I'd like to share that I've recently started using. I love the evolution of Internet TV and Livestation is skinny in its offerings, but I've been running it in the background in the corner of one of my screens, and I like it.

Here in Canada, I can get BBC World News, France 24 (English and French), Al Jazeera (English), and Russia Today (English). I usually have it tuned to BBC World News and the quality of the actual broadcast is pretty high. I see that Bloomberg is one of the channels that is in the Livestation lineup, but I'm sure that it's only accessible to U.S.-based viewers.
