What's In Store for 2008
I received an email from Kathy before the Christmas break, and since then have received a few other pieces of communication on what Trading Post has in store for 2008. It's a question of what is up?
Well, we're working hard on a variety of things, and for those who have been around, what's new, right? One thing that is new is our focus on delivering and listening. Much good can be attributed to listening, and I commend Larry Hill who is the lead advisor in the Gold Rush Trading Club. Many of you know that Trading Post introduced the Online Trading Advisor concept in 2007, and it is a primary focus for us this year.
With GTC, I had encouraged Larry to survey his advisory subscriber base to ask what's good and what's not so good. Some great information was gleaned, and Larry, Marilyn Burnett and the newest advisor Pierre Charlebois implemented many enhancements largely based on the feedback received. It was a great exercise to go through, and one Trading Post wants to continue.
No two traders are identical. We realize that and for those of you who haven't accessed services through our new Client Services Portal, it's simple to use. Our newly developed course is accessible, and while we're a little bit off from total completion of the course, between the Forex Market Sector and first five modules of the Trader Development Courses, you'll be kept plenty busy.
The Online Training Rooms will also see an evolution this year, and it's something that I pay special attention to. It's a great way for traders to not only connect with a higher level of Forex trading, but with other traders as well.
Our next Trading Post Tuesday is scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 22. It's a day that we focus on showcasing our products and services, our partners, and delivering great trading insight at the same time. I'm putting together the schedule right now and that will give you an additional glimpse of the year ahead.
One thing we've learned (the hard way - sometimes why can't things be easy?) is that we need to focus on what we do well. In some cases it's re-focus, or re-engage.
Lastly, there are a few other things we're all working on - but I'm most excited about creating more of an online footprint for the community of Trading Post traders to come together and work in helping each other become better traders.
