Open an Account
Follow these simple steps to open your Online FX Account. Please be sure to type or clearly print your email address on the Trader Agreement, as this will be the medium used to contact you following the receipt of your application.
Instructions on Completing the MF Global FX Trader Agreement
- Print out and read the MF Global FX Trader Agreement.
Individual Client Agreement - For individual and/or joint accounts, please sumbit the Individual Client agreement with:- Photo ID (for both account holders if applicable)
- Proof of Address (for both account holders if applicable)
- Photo ID for all beneficial owners and person(s) authorized to trade the account
- Proof of Address for the Corporation
- Articles of Incorporation
- Corporate Resolution
- Fill in all required information and sign the necessary pages.
- Fax the ID Cover Sheet with required pages to MF Global FX at:

- Email as a PDF file to admin@mfglobalfx.ca
- Once you receive confirmation from an MF Global representative that your account has been approved, you can fund your account. Choose from one of the following ways:
- Wire Transfer: This is the fastest method to fund your acocunt. Please contact MF Global for more details.
- Cheque: Send a cheque in Canadian dollars or US dollars, payable to MF Global Canada Co., drawn on a Canadian bank account in the name of the client opening the FX Trading Account. Please note that if you submit an uncertified cheque, funds will be credited after 10 business days.
- Bank Draft: Send a bank draft or money order in Canadian dollars or US dollars, payable to MF Global Canada Co., drawn on a Canadian bank account. If the amount is over $1,000 the issuing bank must complete the Bank Draft Verification Letter.
